How has your work reached new audiences?
Membership programs create a connection across the print and digital content formats. They have allowed us to provide the experience of the physical magazine to brand lovers who frequently use our websites and don’t typically consume print. Similarly, we invite our print magazine subscribers to join us online to enjoy the new content created every day across sites.

How have colleagues supported you over the last year, either personally or professionally?
The leadership at Black Book has been the most supportive group I’ve ever worked with in my 26-year career. On a daily basis, I feel empowered to generate and drive new ideas, and it is such a great feeling to do this with people I consider friends. The line between professionally and personally is very much invisible for me when I work with such a great group of people.

Favorite candy: M&Ms, hands down.
Fondest memory/funniest story of working at Hearst: The collaboration and teamwork that resulted from the pandemic. We had no idea what we were getting into back in March 2020. We all thought we’d be back to “normal” in a few weeks, and here we are almost two years later. An unanticipated benefit of all this has been the close relationships we formed with our teammates and colleagues across the organization. We made an extra effort to connect, and it’s paid off in ways we couldn’t have foreseen.
